So sad about the news...

Matt and I both started our first career out of college together at International Paper in Carson, CA.  He was always such a nice person, ready to lend a helping hand.  Just kind all around.  Someone you see and you know immediately that you can trust him with just about anything.  I left IP many years ago and hadn't been in touch with Matt.  Just a few weeks ago I sent a linkedin invite to get back in touch with him.  I just found out today from his old manager at IP that Matt has passed on.  I am sooo tremendously sad about the news.  I know he is still with us in our hearts.  I really wish that I had been able to get back in touch with him sooner.  My heart goes out to everyone who knows and loves Matt, espeically his family.  All of you will be in my heart and thoughts during this time of difficulty.
