To Uncle Matt: A Gift of Love

A few days after my Uncle Matt died I wrote this poem for him.  I wanted to share it with everyone here.

A Gift of Love for Uncle Matt

I give you the gift of love, like the sweet sound of people laughing.

I give you the gift of love, like people hugging each other.

I give you the gift of love, like the warm feeling when you're with your friends.

I give you the gift of love, like the sweet sound of birds chirping.

I give you the gift of love, like the feeling of joy when we're together and happy.

I GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF LOVE.

One of my favorite memories of my Uncle Matt was when we went to Disney for the first time.  Uncle Matt went with me on lots of rides but my favorite was the rocket ship ride.  He was a lot of fun and I miss him very much.
