Two Amazing Wadleigh Brothers

I feel so lucky to have met Matt. For awhile, I have to be honest I did not think he existed. My best friend Julia started dating this really awesome guy who was honest, caring, considerate, fun, and loved music and adored traveling...was this person even real? Julia often said that he was one of the most funny people she had ever met and I often thought that one of the biggest compliments because Julia is someone who can have you laughing in seconds. I found myself down in CDM one weekend and thought, "Yes! I will finally met this amazing Matt!" only to find out that he wasn't going to be there. Instead I met Justin who from moment one, I knew was amazing. Spending the evening with Julia and Justin and listening to them speak so highly of Matt and his amazing quick wit that I realized that "not knowing" Matt was a problem that needed to be remedied. Julia brought Matt up for a dinner party at my house a few weeks later. There were a ton of our friends l there all of which have known each other practically since diapers and I was worried Matt would not feel comfortable. Within minutes of his arrival, he was watching sports with my fiance and the guys, chatting in the kitchen with the girls, helping set the table for everyone, all the while being the absolute gem that he always was. I can remember at the end of the night, my fiance turned to me and said, "That Matt guy...he is legit". It was such a pleasure getting to know Matt and I will forever be thankful to him for how well he treated and cared for one of the most important persons in my life. I am grateful to Justin for being such an amazing friend to her as well. Julia has said time and time again...I will always hold any man I meet to a Wadleigh standard--and having been blessed to know them, I know that this will be few and far between. To the entire Wadleigh family, my deepest condolences. To Justin, stay strong friend and I promise to come down for some sliders at Quiet Woman soon. I know Matt is up there looking down on everyone with his Soduko book, Dave playing on his heavenly ipod, some obscure beer that no one has ever heard of but he decided he would try since it would be a new adventure, and I think he is still trying to find that perfect jenga piece for me;) Rest in peace Matt. You will be missed.
