Laughter and good times!
Matt always made me laugh! I can just hear him laughing right now. Todd and I met Matt about 8 years ago and a strong friendship developed. Matt was such an extraordinary person. We called him “smarty pants” because he knew everything about everything. I admired his independence and ability to fit in with everyone. Matt had a way of staying connected to everyone which I find such a challenge in our busy lives. However, Matt always found time for friends and family. When Matt moved to San Francisco for a year he made a point to visit us and say hello to the kids. It was such a treat for them (and us) when he came over. My daughter, Sydney recently turned 5. Sure enough, Matt called to wish her a Happy Birthday. He always told so many wonderful stories about his niece and nephew and how much he missed them!
Matt impacted so many of our lives. Our group of friends has gathered daily to remember Matt. Sharing memories and stories has provided so much comfort. We wish he was here with us but all feel like we took something very special from knowing him. We love you Matt!
