Marcy the one the only!

I met Marcy years ago when standing next to my corvette walks up this beautiful blonde who says, “ I just love boys who drive nice cars!”  I thought I was dreaming!  A wonderful relationship pursued from that point forward.  Marcy loved nice cars and lucky for me I had one nice car and now had one wonderful friend.

Marcy and I shared many great experiences together.  I remember going to the State fair in her VW bug.  This was my first time riding in a car with Marcy; I thought I was with a racecar driver.  Marcy scared the heck out of me.  I never thought a VW bug could beat a corvette off the light, but she sure was willing to try.  Her memorable smile would glare at me, she would giggle and off we would go.  Oh yes, Marcy could imitate a wild horse and when that happened, you better step back for a show.  She was so special and so much fun.

My relationship with Marcy was an amazing plutonic relationship and two weeks prior to the loss of my wonderful friend, I was changing the oil in her car.  She was really incredible when it came to cars and car maintenance.  She was very proud of what her dad had taught her and she wanted to make sure she followed his advice.  Marcy was such a generous person; she wanted me to save her money by changing he car’s oil and than she turns around and sends my family a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant.  She was a very generous person and I would always say, “ Marcy, how can I save you money if you continue to go out and buy thank you gifts?”  She was so amazing!

I have so many stories about Marcy and the times I shared with her will remain in my heart forever.  I was always there for her when times were very tough.  I was her sounding board for many years and would be there whenever she needed help.  I cannot help but feel deeply sadden that the time she needed me most, I was not there.

Marcy will always be a part of who I am and I will deeply miss her.

Marcy I will smoke some tires for you!!!

Your loving friend,

Chris Skiba
