My Sweet Friend, Marcy
Marcy and I met at ASU. At that time, fun crazy kids looking for adventure and enjoying every moment of the journey. Her blonde hair flying in the wind as we took to the streets in her yellow Corvette. Laughing, singing as loud as we could to a Tina Turner song. The times were carefree and etched in my mind.
As we matured, our friendship grew into meaningful talks. Meetings at Starbucks that turned into therapy sessions...the talk always centered around our beloved families, our canine children, and hopes and dreams for the future ...(and the latest man that had let us down) :)
Marcy was loyal, funny, and beautiful (although she didn't realize her beauty, both inside and out)
I miss her, and still cannot believe this has happened, that she is not here with us.
She will always live in my heart, and I treasure and value the time I had with my dear friend Marcy.
I know GOD had special plans for Marcy, to take her from us so soon. Maybe to train other angels, or care for all the children and dogs up there. Her heart was big enough for that job. I know she is at peace, and my memories of such a beautiful soul will have to be enough, for now.
All my love,
Gwynda Holemon
Each Life is Like a Song
Each life is like a song, we write in our own tone and key.
Each life we touch reflects a note that forms the melody.
We choose the theme and chorus of the song to bear our name,
And each will have a special sound, no two can be the same.
So when someone we love departs, in memory we find...
Their song plays on within our hearts, and of those they leave behind.
