Heather's honesty

Throughout our weekly CK Mom's meetings, Heather was always so honest.  She asked the difficult questions and forced us all to face head on the obstacles that we were met with as brand new moms.  She helped us laugh at ourselves when we needed to, and of course was right in the front of the pack leading us around the Lafayette reservoir twice a week.  I always admired her strength when times were tough and how she looked out for herself and her kids.  At the same time she had such a fun and easy going way about her. 

What I remember most is her telling the story about how she “ran” the bay to breakers dressed as a belly dancer just a few weeks before Grace was born.  This is how I will remember Heather when I think of her…..
