Happy Birthday Giovanni

I have wanted to write a fitting tribute to GIovanni but continually find myself at a loss for words. My thoughts wandered to him early this morning as I played with my daughter - it made me smile to think how Giovanni would have chatted with her about life, the universe and everything. As I joked with my daughter and she wriggled away laughing to get another book for me to read, I thought about the tools of analysis Giovanni has given to me and that I will in turn impart to her. There are no words to describe the value of this gift to me, someone whose future should have been waiting tables rather than reading books, so I'll just say Thank You Giovanni. Happy Birthday.
