Frank Stark
1937 - 2012
Frank William Stark Jr., loving Husband, Father and Grandpa 75, a past resident of Bremerton and Lakewood, died on December 18, 2012 in Tucson, AZ after a sudden stroke. He was born on February 26, 1937 in Pueblo, CO. Frank was the East High School Band director in Bremerton and a longtime employee of Century Companies of America/CUNA Mutual Group. Frank was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the Ukulele. He was especially loved for his sense of humor, storytelling ability and gentle loving nature. He served as president of the Oakbrook Golf and Country Club and was an active member of the Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club. He was preceded in death by his parents (Frank Stark, Sr. and Lorraine (Clem) Aldredge) and sister (Barbara Jean McDonough). Survived by his wife Sandra Steffeney-Stark, son Jeff Stark (Maria), daughter Laurel Stark (Fred Boullie), step-daughter Anna Steffeney (Mike Brandimarte), step-son Chad Nordman (Leah), grandchildren Alex, Aaron, Jacob, Samuel, Gabriel, Adrian, brother Robert Stark (Madonna). A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 1 p.m. at the Oakbrook Country Club, 8102 Zircon Drive SW, Tacoma, WA 98498
