Where does the time go?
by Melanie Knox
I knew David best through the eyes of his loving wife and sparkling daughters. David was the love of Angie's life, her soulmate. While at the same time he was a most awesome father, loving life as much as he loved his girls. He always had a polite smile for everyone and a true, honest word to pass. As I heard musician, Eva Cassidy, on our summer boating trip '08, I thought of David. Feel free to go on iTunes, listen/download one of her CD's. I especially like the song "Who Knows Where The Time Goes" on the Imagine CD. Eva passed away from cancer at age 33 and never knew how many people would enjoy her sound. David's voice will be known by those of us priviledged enough to call him friend, husband, father, son, son-in-law, uncle, and brother. As you look up at the stars tonight, know David is looking through the windows on the other side. I bet he's saying, I'm okay, all is good and I hope you're good too. See you again one day. May God hold you all in the palm of his hand as we grieve this loss. Big arms to hug and hold you. Melanie
