A Missed Friend

It's hard to believe I only met David 5 years ago. David and Northwest had just joined Hanger and I had been invited to play golf. From the first, Dave was warm, friendly, and fun to play with.

David very quickly became, not only a fellow manager but, a golfing partner/competitor, a traveling companion, bird hunting partner, and a friend. In every case his humor and sincerity came through. When he took over the Rocky Mtn. he added supervisor and leader to the list of roles he did as exceptionally well.

A couple of years ago, Dave and I were in Kinsale, Ireland. We were wandering the streets very early in the morning before the others were up. We found an coffee shop that had just opened. Rather than my usual americano espresso, Dave bought me a cappuccino. I've been drinking them ever since.

Its been a short time that I've known David ( far too short! ). I can't express how much respect and admiration I have had for Dave. Along with everyone else his life has touched, I will miss him. Every time I order a cappuccino I will remember him.
