My Uncle David

Uncle David, I know you're going to be reading all the great stuff people have to say about you... so naturally it has to be written TO you. There's no where to even start really. In fact, there's no end to the memories and amounts of people you have touched. I'm not sure if you ever even knew how much you truly meant to me, you were the father-figure in my life. I was telling one of my friends about you, and I said that you are my hero. If I was even talking to a guy I would think to myself, "would uncle David approve of him?" Isn't that funny? Maybe, but it's true. When I got my nose pierced, afterwards, the first thing I thought was, "oh no, uncle David is not going to be happy about this." I was talking to one of my friends on the phone on the day you passed and they said, "I can't believe how much it's raining and I wish it'd stop!" and I started laughing and they asked why that was funny and I said, "Well, the whole world is crying for my uncle, he was just that great. But soon it will stop and everyone will just be happy and in a state of remembrance for all he's done in his lifetime." It's true. You've done more in your life than many would even hope to accomplish. And by the way, the rain did stop. I just want you to know uncle David, that you will be with me forever and always, guiding my decisions and helping me make choices (or at least consider your opinion). I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me. You're strength and determination might never again be matched. I hope to one day be as successful and truly happy as you always were. Both in your career and family life. I will never again risk loosing my life at the hands of you and your crazy boat driving as you try to throw Kelsey, Malia, and I off of the innertube... I don't know if that's a good or bad thing? Probably better for my neck and back.... whip lash isn't that cool. =] I LOVE you. xo, Princess (it's what you've always called me, and how I have decided never to accept less than the absolute best!)
