David was the type of person that once you met him you never forgot him.  I was introduced to him several years ago when he was selling his business to Hanger and he traveled to Bethesda, MD to meet the people that would be his new owners. He was impressive both in terms of personality and business acumen. Since that day he has never disappointed us on either score. Actually he exceeded our expectations on a consistent basis.  Last summer I had the opportunity to travel with David for three days in the Northwest. His command of a wide variety of subjects such as food, fine wine, cars and watches made for a very enjoyable business trip.  He also was very proud of his family and liked to talk about them and their outings. Throughout our journey he was always upbeat and smiling. His positive attitude was infectious and resulted in his being admired by those that worked for him as well as his peers. He was just fun to be around. He is truly one person that will be missed, but we all know that we are better off just having known him.
