Prank Calls

To this day, I have never met anyone who could tell a story as animated as Courtney.  She had a different voice, and usually a nickname, for every person she's ever encountered.  These voices ranged from the pre-schoolers that she worked with to the guy doing laundry next to her.   She often used her talent for her prank phone calls (before cellphones!!).  My favorite was when she discovered that I got some junk mail offering to sell me a "Thanksgiving Dinner for only $1.99".  She called me repeatedly trying to sell me the stupid dinner using a different character each time.  I "think" I figured out that it was her after the first call, but I was pretty tempted to give in and buy it.  I miss those voices, and the laughter that came with them ; )
