The Memorial Fund Update

Family and friends,

Now that we are on the other side of this sad time for us all I wanted to give a long overdue update on the Memorial Fund.  The initial donations totalled $5285. This is truely a wonderful indication of the impact my sister had on many individuals.  Last summer I made a campership donation to Mar-Lu-Ridge of $620 which, if memory serves me correctly, made attendance to camp available to two young people. (Mar-Lu gives only 1/2 tuition camperships which gives the individual responsibility for their attendance.) Without knowing what donations might be in the future I did not want to deplete the funds quickly so that those of us who would like to make a yearly contribution would have that availability. With the donations I received at Christmas and recently I will be sending a check this summer for four camperships.  I will be in touch with the camp soon. I would like to thank all who have so generously donated and hope to continue the work of God through the young people we have allowed to attend such a wonderful camp. I know my sister would approve.     love,   sue
