Ann our everyday saint.

All Saints Day 2009

I was at Mass yesterday as we celebrated All Saints Day.  November starts the month we pray for all those who have died in the past year. Clare, Kevin and I entered Ann in our book of prayer to be remembered by the whole parish. The priest was a visiting High School chaplain who has a knack for preaching on just the right topic.  Yesterday he spoke of the saints not just the official ones but those that touch our lives here on earth I spent the Mass praying for Ann thinking of those little things she did to make other people's lives better never expecting anything in return. When I was home in Maryland in September Karen Davis and I went and spent several hours with Ann's mom, stopping at Mar-Lu Ridge to remember Ann and say a prayer it was a spectaular day .  It was good to be there and take myself back to 1976!!  I hope that you are blessed with happy memories of Ann when you least expect it.  Enjoy another day in God's presence   Catherine Shaughnessy Brennan
