Walks of Life

When my wife Andy and I moved to the area, Tom worked with her at the High School. Casually, Andy expressed to Tom interest in the outdoors surrounding Vernal. He took her up on it, and we were able to take a couple of "walks" with him. On one occasion, we met him at his house and met his dear wife, Ann. During the few short minutes that we were able to associate with her, as Tom methodically collected his hiking supplies, we could determine INSTANTLY that these two had a special relationship, something that I wish everyone could use as a pattern. Although we haven't spent much time with Tom & Ann, they are a great source of inspiration to me as I ponder my relationship with Andy. Thank you Ann, for the short time we spent together, so we could feed off of your relationship to build ours. As we go on "walks" in our lives, may we focus on times like these to give us the strength to keep walking.
