Chips Ahoy
I only met Ann very briefly, I believe in 2000, but she made a wonderful impression on me. I was chosen to assist the park (DINO) with a special assignment that really wasn't very pleasant work. The gentleman who I was assisting and I needed work space, private work space, which was (still is, perhaps?) hard to come by at the HQ building. Ann graciously packed up her things and said we could use the room she was using for our few days at the park. Ann knew what our assignment was, that it wasn't much fun, and I believe this led to her next action. As she was packing up her work, she looked at an open package of Chip Ahoy cookies, that were obviously hers, and said, "You keep these. You'll need them more than I will." Those cookies meant so much to me, showing that a simple act of kindness during a tough situation can make the work seem a bit easier to manage. Thank you, Ann.
