On the Quarry Face
Ann was thoughtful and a great listener. I recall getting a personal tour of the quarry face at Dinosaur National Monument. Perched on a small ledge, surrounded by Diplodocus and Camarasaurus bones, she mused about how much of her life had been spent sitting right there on that quarry face exposing and cataloging dinosaurs. I'll always cherish that moment.
