Death Valley
Amy and I got to know each other at Scotty's Castle in Death Valley National Park. She was truly a great interpreter, so good with the visitors. She was such a good friend, head strong, she set out to get what she wanted, and was an inspiration of how to be a great park service employee. I remember her walking her dog, hanging out at our potlucks, and just being such a presence. We all missed her greatly when she left for her next job but no one was ever going to hold Amy back from reaching towards great heights. As seen when she won the freeman tildman award. She was such a good person, and I am really saddened by this. I will always remember her. The photo I have attached is from her giving a living history vignette at our 49'er event when the 20-mule team came back into the park.
